AROHA STONE
Aroha Stone (Piedamontite Schist) is given it’s beautiful pink and maroon colours by the manganese content in a highly altered Schist. It also contains mica which gives Aroha Stone a beautiful sparkle. Found in South Westland NZ.
This stone is unique to Nz and rarer than most Pounamu and each piece is a one of a kind.
